We have loaner pickleball paddles for adults AND children in the office.  For adults, an ID must be left when paddles are borrowed.  They MUST be returned and not passed off to other players.

HOURS:

8AM-10AM is OPEN PLAY ONLY

10AM-8PM is by court reservation only.  The courts will close at 8PM.

PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY GUIDELINES

During Open Play times (8-10AM), players may continue to play consecutive games unless there are players waiting to play. The purpose of Open Play is to encourage people to play with other players to create an opportunity for players to play with other players of various skill levels.  The rules below are designed to foster this concept and maximize playing time for all players.

Piquet Lane has 3 courts available.  Doubles must be played anytime people are waiting to play.  There are many open play scenarios that may not be covered below.  In that event, the goal should be for every player to sit before any player must sit a second time.

Number of people waiting to play:

1 Player:

•  At the end of the 1st game being played on the court, one member of the losing team must sit and the waiting player takes their place. 
•  Winning team players split up and the player entering the court and losing team player each play with a person from the winning team
•  The player that most recently entered the court should play a minimum of 2 games before having to rotate off the court.
• Winning team players split up after each game in order to maximize the rotation of players that must sit out.

 2 Players:

• At the end of game 1, the winning team stays on the court; the losing players must sit
• Winning team players split up and the two players entering the court each play with a person from the winning team
• At the end of the 2nd game, the players that played 2 games sit and the waiting players re-enter the court
• After the 1st game, this results in a 2 on, 1 off rotation for each player

 3 Players (and only 1 court in use):

• At the end of game 1, one player from the winning team stays on the court everyone else must rotate off the court for the waiting players
• At the end of the 2nd game, the 1 player that played 2x must sit along with 2 others.
• The players that sit should be determined by who on the court has played the most games at that time

3 Players (and multiple courts in use):

• Follow the 2 players guideline
• The players that sit should be determined by who on the court has played the most games at that time

4 or more players waiting (when all 3 courts are in use):

• When one game ends Player paddles should be lined up and the order of the paddles determines who plays next
• All four players on the one court should sit and the next 4 players should play
